About OutLawed India
OutLawed India provides people with the knowledge, tools, and assistance required to understand and access law and justice. Regional languages, creative pedagogy, and social intermediaries help shape the work we do.
About the Opportunity
We are calling for interns to assist us with our work, for a minimum period of one month – including researching and creating modules for training paralegals and engaging with already trained paralegals.
Mode
This is a hybrid internship, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Interns will be required to come to the OutLawed India office at least twice a week, and we will prefer interns who can come to the office in-person more often. Interns may also be required to be present in person for field visits or other in-person meetings relevant to the project.
Eligibility
The internship is open to students in India, enrolled in a recognized undergraduate or post-graduate programme in the law who have strong research and writing skills. We will be preferring applicants who are proficient in spoken Kannada.
Work Timing
Interns will be required to work about 20 hours per week. Our work timings are 11 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. During this time, the Outlawed India office is open for interns to come and work out of.
