About Navrachana University

Navrachana University is a Private University established under the Gujarat Private University Act, 2009. The University has Five schools: School of Business and Law, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Liberal Studies and Education, School of Environmental Design and Architecture and School of Science.

About the Conference

This conference provides a platform for insightful discussions on how technology influences the landscape of competition law and intellectual property rights, and how legal frameworks are adapting to these changes.

Attendees will engage in in-depth conversations about emerging challenges such as antitrust issues in the digital marketplace, the impact of artificial intelligence and data analytics on competition, and the evolving nature of intellectual property protection in the digital realm. 

Throughout the conference, participants will gain valuable insights into strategies for safeguarding fair competition, fostering innovation, and striking a balance between encouraging technological advancements and upholding intellectual property rights.

Sessions will cover case studies, best practices, and forward-thinking approaches, providing attendees with actionable knowledge to navigate the complex legal landscape of today’s digital age. The conference will explore the intersection of competition law, technology, and intellectual property rights in the digital age and work together to define the future of the legal frameworks that regulate them.

Submission Guidelines

The abstract of a research paper on any of the given theme shall be duly sent. The abstract shall not exceed 300 words. 

Full paper:

    • The length of full paper including tables, diagrams, illustrations, references, etc. shall not be less than 3000 words and shall not exceed 5000 words. (Excluding the footnotes). 
    • Research paper shall be the original and unpublished work of the author. Co-authorship is permitted to maximum two authors. Each author is required to register and pay the registration fee individually.
    • The paper should be typed in Times New Roman 12-point font with 1.5 line spacing.
    • All footnotes must be in Font “Times New Roman”, font size 10, line spacing. All submissions must follow the “The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th Edition).
    • The full paper should be submitted in soft copy (only after the acceptance of the abstract has been duly communicated) and shall be sent along with the registration fee screenshot on form:
    • E-certificates will be provided to all the registered participants.
    • Selected Papers will be published in a book with ISBN Number.

  • Students: Rs. 750/-
  • Participation is reserved on a first come first serve basis.

  • Date of confirmation of abstract: 17 Jan 2024
  • Date of Full Paper submission & Registration: 2 Feb 2024
  • Date of National Conference: 10 Feb 2024
