We are pleased to invite contributions for a forthcoming edited volume titled New Horizon of Judicial Guardianship of Constitutional Rights. This book seeks to bring together scholarly insights and critical analyses on the role of the judiciary in protecting and upholding constitutional rights in India, with a focus on landmark judgments that have shaped the nation’s legal landscape.

The Indian judiciary has long been recognized as a vital pillar in the protection and enforcement of constitutional rights. Over the decades, the courts have played a decisive role in interpreting the Constitution, shaping the contours of fundamental rights, and ensuring that state actions remain within the bounds of constitutional propriety. This book, New Horizon of Judicial Guardianship of Constitutional Rights, offers a comprehensive and scholarly exploration of the judiciary & pivotal role in upholding the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.

• Notifications of proposal acceptance will be made by November 20, 2024.
• Full chapters (for accepted proposals) must be submitted by November 15, 2024.
