About the Competition
Lexosphere proudly announces its 1st Lexosphere National Moot Court Competition, 2024(in Virtual Mode) from April 28th to April 30th, 2024. This competition stands as one of the finest mediums for future legal counsels to engage comprehensively in intricate deliberations, framing their arguments in context with the proposition, and learning the art of advocacy to polish their skills. The competition aims to provide a platform for the budding lawyers of our country to imbibe amalytical skills in real-time situations. It endeavors to engage with students and offer them firsthand experience of the complexities of the law. Participants can anticipate three days of rigorous advocacy, insightful deliberations, and unparalleled learning opportunities.
General Details
The competition is scheduled to be held from April 28th to April 30th, 2024, on a virtual platform.
Awards
- Winning Team: Cash Prize of Rs 9,000/- + Trophy + Certificate
- Runner-Up Team: Cash Prize of Rs 6,000/- + Trophy + Certificate
- Best Memorial: Cash Prize of Rs 3,000/- + Trophy + Certificate
- Best Speaker: Cash Prize of Rs 3,000/- + Trophy + Certificate
- Best Researcher: Cash Prize of Rs 3,000/- + Trophy + Certificate
- Certificate of Participation for all participants
General Rules
- Each team should consist of a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 members. This number cannot be modified under any circumstances.
- There shall be 2 speakers and 1 researcher designated for each team. The researcher shall be allowed to argue with prior permission of the court and National Administrator in case of illness of the designated speakers.
- Each team will be provided a team code prior to the submission of memorials via e- mail/WhatsApp.
- This team code is only for the memorials. Teams should not disclose the identity of their institution in their memorials; such disclosure shall invite penalties including disqualification.
- The decision for the same shall be at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
Eligibility
Law students enrolled in 3 years LLB programme and 5 years integrated programme from any college/institution/university recognised by BCI across the country.
Registration Details
- Online registrations are open from 10th March, 2024. The teams must register online by 20th April, 2024.
- The registration shall be done by filling up the registration form available https://forms.gle/Gsdguv1mY4yCqxJn7 . The registration shall be considered complete only when the ‘Registration Fee’ has been paid successfully and the registration form is duly filled with all the credentials.
- The participants will receive an official approval mail from organising committee carrying the ‘Team Code’. The teams shall quote this team code in all further communications with the organising committee.
- The registration fee for the competition is Rs. 1500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred). (Payment details has been given in the Brochure)
